Abstract
This invention provides, but is not limited to, methods of using metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) having repeat units of the formula M(DHTP) (M is a divalent metal ion; DHTP=2,5-dihydroxyterephthalate) for acetylene storage. Also provided are compositions of the same formula and acetylene, e.g., an acetylene storage material comprising [M(DHTP)]and acetylene.
