Abstract

A COrecovering apparatus includes: a COabsorber that brings flue gas containing COinto contact with COabsorbent to reduce the COcontained in the flue gas; a regenerator that reduces COcontained in rich solvent that has absorbed COin the COabsorber to regenerate the rich solvent, so that the COabsorbent that is lean solvent having COreduced in the regenerator is reused in the COabsorber; and a controller that controls to detect the absorbent concentration in the COabsorbent, to increase the volume of COabsorbent to be circulated based on a decrease in the absorbent concentration, and to adjust the volume of steam to be supplied in the regenerator based on the volume of the COabsorbent to be circulated.
