Abstract

A base station () reduces overhead created by the notification of user allocation information (individual control information) in performing multi-user MIMO transmission. The base station () has spatial multiplex signal forming units (individual data sequence creation unit () and beam formation unit ()) that form signals that are spatial multiplex transmitted from multiple antennas, a common control signal formation unit () that forms common control signals that are transmitted in common from multiple antennas, and an individual control signal appending unit () that includes an individual control signal for each terminal address in a spatial multiplex transmitted signal.
