Abstract
A detector array () of an imaging system () includes a radiation sensitive detector () that detects radiation and generates a signal indicative thereof. A current-to-frequency (I/F) converter () converts the signal to a pulse train having a frequency indicative of the signal for an integration period. Circuitry () generates a first moment and at least one higher order moment based on the pulse train.
