Abstract
A device for detecting an angular position of a steering shaft (), in particular for a steering unit of a boat drive (), using an angular sensor (). The steering shaft () and the angular sensor () are kinematically interconnected, via a play-reducing intermediate gear (), which engages with a master gear () of the steering shaft () and a slave gear () of the angular sensor () to facilitate precise detection of angular rotation of the steering shaft ().
