Abstract

[Problem to be solved] A COrecovery apparatus which can significantly reduce the amount of steam and provide further improved energy efficiency is provided. [Solution] The apparatus includes: a flue gas cooling apparatusfor allowing cooling waterto cool a COand Ocontaining flue gasthat is emitted from an industrial combustion facilitysuch as a boiler or gas turbine; a COabsorberhaving a COrecovery sectionA for bringing the cooled COcontaining flue gasand a COabsorbing COabsorbentinto contact with each other to remove COfrom the flue gas; and an absorbent regeneratorfor releasing COfrom a COabsorbed COabsorbentto regenerate the COabsorbent. The apparatus further includes: a cleansing water divert linefor diverting partial cleansing waterof circulating cleansing waterthat has been condensed in a cleansing sectionB in the COabsorber; a first heat exchangerdisposed in the divert lineand in a boiler flue gas duct; and a superheated cleansing solution supply linefor directing, into the bottom portion of the absorbent regenerator, a superheated cleansing solutionhaving heat exchanged with a first heat exchanger
