Abstract
A spindle device () includes: a bracket () swingably mounted on a support arm () and having a tubular portion () substantially perpendicular to the swing axis of the bracket (); and, a spindle () including a rotation portion () capable of mounting a tool onto the leading end thereof, a housing () insertably and removably mounted on the tubular portion () of the bracket () and having a mounting surface () disposed opposed to the surface of the bracket (), and bearings (and) respectively interposed between the rotation portion () and housing () for supporting the rotation portion () rotatable relative to the housing (). In the mounting surface () of the housing (), there are formed flow passage openings () for fluid which are supplied to the spindle ().
