Abstract
In a wheel support structure for a motorcycle, a magnetic encoderfor detecting rotational speed is mounted and fastened to the inner circumferential surface of a cylindrical section, which extends outward in the axial direction from the outer ring, of an encoder installation platethat is attached to the end section in the axial direction of the outer ringof the one of the rolling bearingson the side toward the other rolling bearing, or is mounted and attached to the side surface toward the side of the other rolling bearingof a slinger, which is attached to the end section in the axial direction of the outer ringof the one of the rolling bearingson the side toward the other rolling bearingsuch that the end surface on the inner diameter side closely faces the outer surface of the inner ringto form labyrinth space. Preferably, a rotation restraining memberis fastened to the outer circumferential surface of the outer ring, which is the rotating ring, and there is engagement between this rotation restraining memberand the inner circumferential surface of the hub, which is the rotating member.
