Abstract
This invention provided a manufacturing method to process a small-diameter step sectionon an inside end section of a hub bodythat comprises an outward facing flangeand a positioning cylinderstably and with high precision. In this invention, an intermediate materialis pressed between a lower punchand an upper punchwith an outer peripheral surface of the intermediate materialbeing held by a lower dieand an upper die, and then a part of the intermediate materialis pressed into the lower punchsuch that the small-diameter step sectionis formed by cold plastic working.
