Abstract
An apparatus is provided for positioning a tired wheelonto an upright rotary wheel holder unitof a tire changer machine. A first frameis driven by a first actuatorto move the wheelbetween a lower position and an upper position from which the wheelis brought onto the rotary wheel holder unit. A second frameis connected with a second actuatorto be driven between a lower position to an end position above the upper position to remove the wheelfrom the first frame, and to support the wheelwith the wheel axisin alignment with a rotation axisof the rotary wheel holder unit.
