Abstract
An echo removing apparatus that can remove an echo appropriately if the produced sound volume becomes large although the configuration is simple is provided. A control sectionswitches the operations of an echo suppressorand an echo cancellerin response to the volume value input from a volume operation section. If the volume value is large, the echo suppressoris operated and an echo is suppressed reliably. If the volume value is small, the echo cancelleris operated and double talk is enabled.
