A recording medium comprising a magnetic material inside, and having a Taber abrasion amount of 10 mg or less. Also provided is a recording medium comprising a magnetic material inside, and having, in an environment of 23° C. and 50% RH, a surface electroresistivity of 1×10Ω/sq to 2×10Ω/sq and a volume electroresistivity of 1×10Ωcm to 2×10Ωcm.
