Abstract

The invention relates to an assembly () of metal elements constituting a precursor for a superconductor. The assembly comprises at least one conductor element () adapted to provide a superconducting filament in the finished superconductor, and at least one doping element () providing a doping source for doping the conductor element. The invention also relates to a method suitable for producing a superconductor.
