Abstract
A four bar drive link system simulatorhas a frame assembly, a proximal hinge attachment bracket, a bottom bracket simulator, a pair of crank leversL,R, a pair of coupling leversand a pair of pedal simulator leversL,R. The frame assemblyhas a plurality of guide rails, including at least a proximal hinge adjustment rail, and a frame simulator rail. The proximal hinge attachment bracketis connected to the proximal hinge adjustment rail. The bottom bracket simulatoris attached or otherwise connected to the frame simulator rail. The pair of crank leversL,R is each attached at a first end to an axlehaving its axis of rotation in the bottom bracket simulator, one crank lever being on one side of the bottom bracket simulator, the other on the opposite side. The pair of coupling leversis each attached to an opposite second end of the crank leverL orR. The pair of pedal simulator leversR,L is each pivotally attached to an end of the coupling leverand to an axlehaving an axis of rotationat the proximal hinge attachment bracket. The relative dimensions between the axis of rotation of proximal hinge and axis of rotation of the bottom bracketare adjustable by movement along the proximal hinge guide railor the frame simulator guide railor a combination of both.
