Abstract
Fluoroelastomer compositions comprising fluoroelastomers having copolymerized units of a nitrile group-containing cure site monomer are cured with certain hydroxylamine derivatives. The hydroxylamine derivative is of formula R(C(O))NHORwherein n is 0 or 1; Ris H, C(O)R, C(O)R, C(O)OR, or C(O)SR; Ris H, C(O)R, or C(O)OR; Ris C-Calkyl group, aryl, heterocycle, benzyl, 9-fluorenylmethyl, or CHR; and Ris a fluoroalkyl group, with the proviso that Rand Rcannot simultaneously be H.
