Abstract
A guide rail () for an apparatus for transporting PET-bottles () is disclosed. The guide rail () supports a guiding insert (), which is touched by the PET-bottles () during transport. The surface () of the guiding insert () touching the PET-bottles () is provided with a polymer material (P) which at 23° C. has a larger modulus of elasticity than PET and at 100° C. itself has a modulus of elasticity lower by less than 20%.
