Abstract
A method for controlling an agricultural working machine includes the step of assigning a route planning system () to the agricultural working machine () for generating driving routes () in a territory (). The route planning system () subdivides the territory () into a worked territory () and a remaining territory area (), and at least one parameter () of the agricultural working machine () is adapted as a function of the shape of the worked territory () and/or the remaining territory area (). In this manner it is ensured that the working method of the agricultural working machine () or its working attachments () is adaptable to the shape of the particular territory () to ensure economically efficient use of the agricultural working machine (). A device for controlling an agricultural working machine also is provided.
