Abstract

The invention relates to a composition containing a particulate solid, a plastic material (such as a thermoplastic polymer) and a compound capable of having dispersant properties. The compound may be obtained/obtainable by reacting a fatty acid with either (i) a hydroxy-C-alkylene carboxylic acid, or (ii) a lactone. The invention further relates to novel compounds, and the use of the compound as a dispersant.
