Abstract
A chlorine-modified lithium manganese-based ABOspinel cathode material is provided. Furthermore, a lithium or lithium ion rechargeable electrochemical cell is provided incorporating chlorine-modified lithium manganese-based ABOspinel cathode material in a positive electrode. In addition, a process for preparing a stable chlorine-modified lithium manganese-based ABOspinel cathode material is provided.
