A suturing needle, comprising needle tip portion () having needle tip (), tapered portion () continuing to needle tip portion (), trunk portion () continuing to tapered portion (), and thread attaching portion () continuing to trunk portion (); needle tip portion () has circular section continuing to sharp needle tip (), angular section continuing to sharp needle tip (), circular section continuing to blunt needle tip () or angular section continuing to blunt needle tip (): wherein trunk portion () has the relations R≧R≧R, when peak () or joint portion between the two flat faces has diameter R, crest of ridges has a roundness of R, and a valley () has roundness R; and valley () is formed to correspond partially to peak (), and the thickness becomes continuously larger from tapered portion () to trunk portion ().
