Abstract

In an electric linear motion actuator, planetary rollersrotatably supported on their radially inner surfaces by respective support pinsare radially inwardly biased by radially compressible ring springsenveloping the support pins, thereby biasing and pressing the respective planetary rollersagainst the radially outer surface of a rotary shaft. Thus, it is possible to stably transmit torque of the rotary shaftto the respective planetary rollerswithout applying a preload to the planetary rollerswith a negative gap between the radially outer surface of the rotary shaftand the radially inner surface of the outer ring member
