Abstract
A flexurehas a substratemade of a thin conductive metal plate, a base insulating layermade of flexible resin formed on the substrate, wiring patternsformed on the base insulating layer and connected to a slider mount, and a cover insulating layerformed over the wiring patterns. The flexureis substantially coated with a conductive polymer layerhaving a thickness in the range of 18 to 130 nm. The flexureprevents electrostatic accumulation and ion migration that are trade-offs.
