Abstract
An electrical connector () includes an insulative housing (), a front shell () and a back shell () fixed to the insulative housing () and a set of contacts () received in the insulative housing (). The back shell () includes a base () covering a rear surface of the insulative housing () and formed with mating plates (). The insulative housing () has two guide slots () extending forwardly from a back face () of the insulative housing (). The back shell () is assembled to the insulative housing () from top-to-bottom, the guiding slot () guides the mounting plate () and finally receives the mounting plate () to retain the back shell ().
