Abstract

An ophthalmologic photographing apparatus includes an illumination unit configured to illuminate a subject's eye with one of infrared light and visible light, an input unit configured to input a signal to the illumination unit, a measurement unit configured to measure an input time of the signal from the input unit, a detection unit configured to detect that the input time is a predetermined time or longer, and a control unit configured to control the illumination unit according to a detection result by the detection unit to switch from the infrared light to the visible light.
