Abstract
The present invention relates to a circuit for measuring an effective current (i(t)) of a signal to be monitored (i(t)), where the circuit includes means for making a continuous reference signal (i(t)) depend on the signal to be monitored (i(t)) so that the effective current (ieff(t)) of the continuous reference signal (iDC(t)) is equal to the effective current (i(t)) of the signal to be monitored (i(t)).
