Abstract
There is provided herein a composition comprising a silicone copolymer of the general formula (I) MMDDTTQwhere M=RRRSiO; M=RRRSiO; D=RRSiO; D=RRSiO; T=RRSiO; T=RSiO; T=RSiO; and Q=SiO; where R, R, R, R, R, R, R, R, and Rare each independently selected from the group of monovalent hydrocarbon radicals Ris a monovalent radical defined as: —RO—(CHO)(CHO)(CHO)—Ror —Rwith the provision that the copolymer must contain at least one Rgroup; Ris a linear or branched divalent hydrocarbon radical containing from 3 to about 10 carbon atoms; Ris H or —C(═O)CHor a monovalent saturated or unsaturated hydrocarbon radical, optionally containing heteroatoms and hydroxyl groups, containing from 1 to about 30 carbon atoms; Ris a hydrocarbon radical, containing from 2 to about 30 carbon atoms and at least 1 hydroxyl group, optionally containing heteroatoms; subscripts a, b, c, d, e, f, and g are 0 or positive subject to the limitation a+b+c+d+e+f+g<1000; subscripts h, i, and j are 0 or positive subject to the limitation h+i+j is less than 100; and, b) an organic oil.
