Abstract

It is an object of the invention to provide a technique for bringing a center of gravity of a battery-powered power tool closer to a working axis of a tool bit in the battery-powered power tool. The battery-powered power tool performs an operation by movement of a tool bitin an axial direction of the tool bit. The power tool includes a battery, a motorthat is driven by power supply from the battery, a mechanical arrangementthat drives the tool bitby rotative power transmitted from the motor, and a tool bodythat houses the motorand the mechanical arrangementand has a front end region in which the tool bitis disposed. A sum of weights of the motorand the batteryis smaller than a weight of the mechanical arrangement
