Abstract

The present invention provides a method for stabilization of reduced coenzyme Qcharacterized by concurrently containing a propylene glycol fatty acid ester in a composition containing reduced coenzyme Q, and a composition containing reduced coenzyme Qand a propylene glycol fatty acid ester as essential constituting ingredients. According to the present invention, reduced coenzyme Q, which is useful as a food, food with nutrient function claims, food for specified health use, nutritional supplement, nutritional product, animal drug, drink, feed, cosmetic, pharmaceutical product, therapeutic drug, prophylactic drug and the like can be stabilized especially without being made into a complicated composition.
