Abstract

Disclosed are a method and a device for blow molding containers (). A parison () is stretched by means of a stretching rod () within a blow mold () and molded into the container by applying blow pressure following thermal conditioning. The pressurized gas is introduced into the container () via at least two different flow paths (). Advantageously, one of the flow paths () ends near the orifice area () while a second flow path () ends near a container bottom (). At least some of the pressurized gas is introduced into the container () through the stretching rod ().
