Abstract

A battery cell connector includes a first terminal part formed for connection to a battery terminal of a first battery, a second terminal part, and a connecting part arranged between the terminal parts and electrically connecting the terminal parts to one another. The connecting part has a Z-shaped longitudinal cross-section. The Z-shaped longitudinal cross-section includes a central web which is inclined by no more than 20° such that the connecting part is elastically deformable in at least two perpendicular spatial directions. The first terminal part is formed from a first electrically conductive material and a flat piece formed from a second and different type electrically conductive material may be bonded to the second terminal part. It is often desirable for the conductive material to correspond to the battery terminal to which it is to be joined.
