The invention relates to a method for measuring and/or testing a geometric design parameter, particularly waviness, of a planar textile (), comprising the steps: disposing the planar textile () in an intermediate space () between a support () and a flexible film (), applying a differential pressure (Δp) between the intermediate space () and the environment, so that the film () adapts to the planar textile (), and capturing a surface profile () of the film ().
