Abstract

A boiler apparatus is provided that generates a heat source capable of efficiently regenerating absorbing liquid while maintaining steam turbine efficiency to a maximum extent. The boiler apparatus includes: an economizerpreheating water serving as working fluid of a steam turbine system; an air preheaterinstalled downstream of the economizer; an evaporatorinstalled downstream of the economizer; an evaporator drumusing the water vapor from the evaporatorto generate saturated water vapor; a reboilerusing the saturated water vapor from the evaporator drumto evaporate the absorbing liquid from a regeneration tower; a steam bypass pipeconnected to a steam pipethrough which the saturated water vapor from the evaporator drumpasses; a steam escape valveinstalled in the steam bypass pipe; an exhaust gas bypass pipeconnected to an exhaust gas pipeconnecting the air preheaterwith an absorption tower; and a butterfly valveinstalled in the exhaust gas bypass pipe
