Abstract

An MgBcompound sheath superconducting wire includes a high stable metal having a specific electric resistance 7 μΩcm or below at a room temperature and a high strength metal having a Vickers hardness 50 or above at a room temperature, both of which are assembled therewith to realize a high strength and a lengthy superconductor.
