Abstract
An air valving system for a reciprocating piston pump () which uses piston () actuated poppet assemblies () to control the main air valve () shift. The valve exhaust is vented () directly to atmosphere rather than through the main exhaust to ensure reliability. A ramped detent () prevents the air valve () from centering.
