Abstract
A door trimhaving a side-impact absorption capability includes a basehaving suction holesand grooveson a rear side between the adjacent suction holes. The baseis covered with a top coverthat is clung to a surface of the baseby applying vacuum through the suction holes. The suction holesand the groovesdeform in conjunction with each other in a side collision and this improves the side-impact absorption capability.
