Abstract

Weaving apparatus for use in weaving threads into a woven structure includes a base including a retaining structure, a support portion removably engaging with the retaining structure, and a first insert engaging with the support portion. The first insert includes an upper portion defining a receptacle, and a second insert includes a base having an upper portion and a wall projecting from a lower surface of the upper portion. The second insert is positionable in engagement with the first insert by positioning the wall of the second insert at least partly into the receptacle of the first insert. A weaving platform is operatively positioned between the first and second inserts and around at least part of the wall of the second insert. The weaving platform includes slits around its circumference adapted to secure threads during use of the apparatus for weaving.
