Abstract
In a method for regulating a web tension and/or a register of a processing machine used to process a material web (), in particular a shaftless printing press (), the material web () is processed in at least one processing unit (---); the elasticity module of the material of the material web () is changed by moisture entering the material, and/or by moisture leaving the material, a quantity that represents the addition of moisture to the material and/or the loss of moisture from the material being taken into account in the regulation.
