Abstract
A blood testing device in which a blood sensor does not contaminate a piercing section when discarded. The blood testing device () is provided with the piercing section () having an upper holder () and a lower holder (), and also with a connector (). In piercing operation, the connector (), the upper holder (), and the lower holder () sandwich and hold the sensor (). To discharge the sensor, the lower holder () is pivoted so as to be separated from the upper holder (), which creates a space between the lower holder () and the upper holder () to expose the sensor ().
