Abstract
A rotor drive mechanismis configured to transfer rotation of a driving shaftto an external screw type rotorof a uniaxial eccentric screw pumpvia a connecting shaft, the driving shaftbeing rotated such that the center thereof is located at a fixed position. The rotor drive mechanismis configured such that: the driving shaftincludes an inner spacewhich is open toward the rotor; the connecting shaftis inserted in the inner space; and a first seal portionseals between an inner peripheral surface of an opening of the driving shaft, the opening being open toward the rotor, and an outer peripheral surface of the rotor shaftconnected to the rotorconfigured to carry out an eccentric rotational movement.
