Abstract
The invention relates to a method for producing a headlamp lens () for a vehicle headlamp, in particular for a motor-vehicle headlamp (), wherein the headlamp lens () comprises a transparent body () with an optically effective surface (), which is in particular substantially planar and can be turned towards a light source (), and an optically effective surface (), which is in particular convex and can be turned away from the light source (), wherein the gradient of a light-dark boundary () projected by the headlamp lens () or a further headlamp lens is measured, and wherein a light diffusing structure () is produced in the transparent body () in accordance with the measured gradient.
