Abstract
An apparatus () for checking the attitude of a vehicle () includes: at least one target () defining a spatial reference system; a mobile unit () adapted for measuring the value of parameters representing the geometric characteristics of the wheels of the vehicle (), and for viewing the target (); a processor () is connected to a camera () mounted on the mobile unit, for calculating the position of the wheel () relative to the reference system to calculate the attitude of the vehicle (); an interface () is provided, designed to make available in real time to the user driving the mobile unit () information relating to the position of the camera () relative to the wheel (), wherein the mobile unit () can be driven manually by a user to be positioned in proximity of the wheel ().
