Abstract
A frame () and a method for allocating resources that is used in a wireless communication network is provided. The frame includes a first subframe () concatenated to a second subframe (). A first portion () of the first subframe allocated for a control channel of a first protocol. A second portion () of the first subframe and the second subframe are allocated for a data channel for the first protocol. In an embodiment second portion of the first subframe and the second subframe are allocated for a data channel of the second protocol that are multiplexed with the data channel of the first protocol using frequency division multiplexing (FDM).
