Abstract
A self-propelled machine for cutting or milling, has a chassis (), which is carried by track-laying units or wheels and which has a cutting or milling arrangement () and an arrangement () for adjusting the height of the chassis to set the depth of cutting or milling. The basic principle of the machine according to the invention is that the driver's station is decoupled from the shaking movements or vibrations from the arrangement () for cutting or milling which are transmitted to the chassis, and from the vibrations from the internal combustion engine for driving the machine.
