Abstract
A vehicle power steering devicecomprises an input shaft, a torque sensorthat magnetically detects an input torque input into the input shaft, and a position sensorthat detects a reference rotation position of the input shaft. The position sensorcomprises a magnet, a first magnetic path forming memberthat forms a first magnetic loop M for the magnetin the reference rotation position of the input shaft, and a magnetic sensing elementdisposed in the first magnetic loop M. By providing the position sensorwith a second magnetic path forming memberthat forms a second magnetic loop N for the magnetin any rotation position of the input shaftother than the reference rotation position, magnetic flux from the magnetis prevented from leaking to the torque sensor
