A method for the binning of a radiation-emitting, optoelectronic semiconductor component () is specified, comprising the following steps: providing a radiation-emitting, optoelectronic semiconductor component (), determining the color locus () of the light emitted by the radiation-emitting, optoelectronic semiconductor component () during operation, classifying the radiation-emitting, optoelectronic semiconductor component () into a predefined color locus range () comprising the color locus determined.
