Abstract

A user terminal () having a license purchase unit () obtaining a license () indicating a content usable time () of a content data () composed of a plurality of elements (), each of which can be replayed individually. The user terminal () also having an availability judgment unit () judging whether or not encrypted elements () included in the content data () are available, based on the content usable time () indicated in the obtained license (), and having a replay/display unit () replaying the encrypted elements judged as available. In addition, the user terminal () having a use status management unit () specifying license-consuming elements, each of which consumes an authorized amount of replay under right, out of the elements that are being replayed, and measuring a content used time () consumed by replaying the specified license-consuming elements.
