Abstract
The image forming apparatus according to the present invention is controlled in such a way that it can generate from document data, original copy data for outputting an original copy of the document data and carbon copy data for outputting a carbon copy of the document data (Sand S), start output processing of the generated original and carbon copy data (S, S, S, and S), determines whether or not the original copy data has been deleted in the middle of the output processing (S), and gives user a message prompting user to discard the outputted result of the carbon copy data when it is determined that the original copy data has been deleted in the middle of the output processing (Sand S).
