Abstract
There is provided a process for the preparation of a compound of formula (I), wherein R, R, R, R, X and Y are as described in the description. Such compounds may, for example, be useful intermediates in the synthesis of drugs such as Dronedarone. Intermediate steps of the process comprise formulae according to (II) and (III).
