Abstract

The present invention relates to compounds represented by the following Formula I, Ring-A of the Formula I can be, for example an aryl group, and Lis a chiral or achiral lengthening group. The compound represented by Formula I can be a photochromic compound. The present invention also relates to photochromic compositions and photochromic articles that include one or more photochromic compounds, such as represented by Formula I.
