Abstract
An ultrasonic sensor module attaching device and attaching method include an ultrasonic sensor modulehaving a flangeof which the diameter is larger than the hole diameter of a through holeprepared through a bumperof a vehicle; and a fixing ring platehaving an engaging sectionwith the flange of the ultrasonic sensor module temporarily fixed on the back of the bumperand a large-diameter fixing sectionwhich extends circumferentially of the engaging section and is fixed to the back of the bumper; thus, the necessity for positioning the fixing ring plateto the holeof the bumperis eliminated, which can attach easily the ultrasonic sensor moduleto the back of the bumper.
